We are seeking motivated, design-savvy, and sales-driven Design Sales Consultants to join our team in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Position Summary
The Design Sales Consultant guides clients through the design and purchasing process, from initial consultation to final installation. This role combines creative design expertise with consultative sales skills to drive revenue while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
This position requires flexibility, including rotating weekend hours, as weekends are a key time for client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Design
• Meet with clients to assess design needs, lifestyle preferences, and budget
• Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements as needed
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans
• Present product selections, materials, and finishes
• Revise designs based on client feedback
Sales & Business Development
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes
• Upsell complementary products and services
• Close sales and secure deposits
• Maintain accurate records in CRM system
Project Coordination
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and installers
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Verify product specifications and resolve discrepancies
• Manage project timelines and communicate updates to clients
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Follow up post-installation to ensure satisfaction
• Generate referrals and repeat business
Showroom Support
• Maintain attractive and updated showroom displays
• Stay informed on new products, collections, and industry trends
• Assist walk-in clients and support overall showroom operations
• Participate in rotating weekend showroom coverage

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in design, furniture sales, or showroom consulting
• Strong consultative selling and closing skills
• Knowledge of space planning, furnishings, textiles, and finishes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Availability to work rotating weekends

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Sales, or related field
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software
• Background in luxury or high-end sales environments
• Industry certifications (NCIDQ, ASID, IIDA) a plus
